*cough* A good friend of mine demanded that I buy this, so I got it on the PS Vita.
I have a weakness for *Hime* haircuts, so naturally warmed up to Nyotengu.
Despite its initial impressions, DoA3 is not simply a swimsuit-collection-simulator with the added bonus to oggle the beautifully rendered female cast of the DoA series: To assume so would be paying a great disservice to the amount and wealth of available content on offer.
The game boasts a wide variety of challenging-yet-fun mini-games where you can earn money and EXP to buy items and swimsuits for the DoA girls in order to keep them happy.
The graphics are gorgeous to look at, boasting well-designed background levels and absolutely beautiful character models. The smooth animations, impressive physics engine and even great voice-acting helps to bring the girls to life and sell the illusion that you’re spending a wonderful sun-drenched week in paradise.
During the time spent on the island, you really do feel a connection and emotional bond with the girl of your choice, something that few games manage to pull off successfully.
I GENUINELY wanted to do well at the mini-games.
I GENUINELY wanted to make the girls happy.
And I GENUINELY wanted to see what they looked like in the swimsuits that I bought…
