Description
Haven't drawn anything Dark Souls-related for a while, so I decided to challenge myself and go all-out...and whip up a picture of the Chaos Witch, Quelaag.
"Come join our Covenant~ We have Egg Salad, Egg Sandwiches, Scotch Eggs, Deviled Eggs, Egg Tarts, Mini Egg Quiches, Steamed Egg Puddings, Tea Eggs, Egg Sushi, Egg Rolls, Eggnog, and orange juice."
I was originally going to draw her with her Furysword, but couldn't. Y'see, if you're going to extend your hand to someone, you extend your right hand, as some people take offense if you extend your left hand (I'm a lefty, so this always throws me). But she also holds her sword in her right hand, so in order for this pic to work, she can't be holding her sword.
Gave her messy hair. Living in a swamp will do that to you. (Maybe that's why Maneater Mildred has a sack on her head? She's just really self-conscious?)
Her eyes are supposed to be narrower and sultry, but I opened them up a bit. Didn't want her to look sneaky.
Had great fun doing the spider bits. I need more practice doing monster bits, but I'm kinda OK with what I ended up with. Back in art class, when my teacher told me to draw my classmate's face, I shoulda asked instead if she coulda taught me how to draw monster spiderladies (strangely sultry spiderlahdeez~)
I'd like to think that if she knew that you meant her and her sister no harm, she'd happily befriend you...heck, if Dark Souls was created by a different studio, she'd probably be a romance option...
Donate enough Souls, complete her Loyalty quest, and just before facing the Lord of Cinder, you get a special cut-scene.
You know the type I mean~

The colors are good. I still remember the time when I had nightmares of being taunted by her when I struggled to kill her before I finally succeeded and rang the second bell of awaking.
