I wanted to explore the reworked/revamped world of Eorzea at a leisurely pace, so I made my way through the main quest as the new Arcanist/Summoner class and not as a maxed-out job.

After encountering and fighting alongside many of the newly introduced NPCs, I decided to quickly whip up a fanart pic of one of my favourites: The tactical genius, K'lyhia.

Decided to depict the moment when she dresses up as a dancer girl to sneak aboard the pirate ship. Cos that was genius. (〃∇〃)

Oh wait, deciding to board a blood-thirsty-blue-balled pirate ship dressed as a scantilly-clad cat-eared dancing girl?! She's just lucky that on my days off, I'm also a Pokemon trainer~





Really liking what YoshiP and co have done to FFXIV:RR.

The new music is really nice, but I do miss some of the old themes. As nice as the new Gridania theme tune is, I still find myself humming the old theme tune from time to time. And it's borderline heart-breaking to find "Twilight Over Thanalan" completely absent! Blood and thunder!

One thing that I really like about RR, is how the main NPCs will fight alongside you in story critical missions, which creates a sense of camaraderie. Nothings worse than NPCs who throw out missions and tell you to hike halfway across the world, but actually do nothing themselves, but the main NPCs in FFXIV WILL get involved. Fighting alongside the Scions is always one of the many highlights of the game.

In v1.0, I was rocking things up as a BRD, as they had access to cures and buffs, and so not only could you DD, you could also help out the Healers in keeping the PT alive if things went turnip. But in RR, BRD is now more of a damage class, so I can't do my multi-tasking magickery anymore. And so, for RR, I'll probably be frolicking through end-game as a SMN. Which is DARNED fun!

Once they re-introduce Inspector Hildibrand and Nashu, and the Good King Moggle Mog XII Primal fight, all will be well with the world~
